1. Lucent Privacy Services
Lucent Privacy provides products and services intended to help organizations reduce visual exposure of information displayed on electronic screens through glass.
Services may include visual-privacy assessments, recommendations, product supply, QFilm Plus, professional installation, samples, demonstrations, and related services.
Specific products, services, specifications, pricing, warranties, installation requirements, and project terms may be governed by separate quotations, proposals, purchase agreements, invoices, or other written agreements.
Where a separate written agreement conflicts with these website Terms regarding a particular transaction or project, the terms of the applicable written agreement will control.
2. No Guarantee of Complete Security
Lucent Privacy products and services are designed to reduce certain forms of visual exposure. No physical, electronic, cybersecurity, or visual-privacy measure can eliminate every possible security or information-loss risk.
The use of Lucent Privacy products does not replace appropriate cybersecurity, physical security, access controls, employee policies, information-security procedures, or other safeguards appropriate to the customer's organization.
Lucent Films Inc. does not warrant that the use of QFilm Plus or other products or services will prevent every instance of visual observation, photography, recording, data theft, security breach, or unauthorized disclosure.
3. Assessments and Recommendations
Any assessment, recommendation, demonstration, or information provided by Lucent Privacy is based upon the circumstances and information reasonably available at the time.
Building configuration, lighting, glass, display technology, viewing angles, equipment, installation conditions, and other factors can affect product performance.
Customers are responsible for evaluating their overall security requirements and determining whether the products and services are appropriate for their particular application.
4. Samples and Demonstrations
Samples are provided for evaluation and demonstration purposes.
Actual installed appearance and performance may vary depending upon glass, lighting, display type, viewing angle, installation conditions, and other environmental factors.
A sample or demonstration should not be interpreted as a guarantee that every installation will perform identically under all conditions.
5. Quotations and Orders
Unless otherwise stated in writing, quotations are estimates based upon the information supplied by the customer and may be subject to revision if dimensions, quantities, installation conditions, specifications, access requirements, or other project circumstances change.
Orders may be subject to separate payment, cancellation, shipping, installation, and warranty terms provided with the applicable quotation, order acknowledgment, or agreement.
6. Customer-Provided Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information reasonably necessary to quote, manufacture, supply, or install products.
Where dimensions, photographs, drawings, specifications, glass information, or other project information are provided by the customer or its representatives, Lucent Films Inc. may rely upon that information unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Installation
Installation may be performed by Lucent Privacy personnel or qualified/certified installers within our installation network.
Installation schedules may be affected by site access, construction conditions, product availability, transportation, customer readiness, building restrictions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers are responsible for providing reasonable access to the installation location and identifying relevant site restrictions or hazards.
8. Intellectual Property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, photographs, videos, product descriptions, trademarks, logos, designs, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Lucent Films Inc. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view and use website content for legitimate informational and business purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, republish, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from website content without prior written permission except as permitted by law.
